Cultivating relationships is what Libby is about. Her two decades in the retail industry combined with 15 years in real estate provides a unique edge to Hafa Adai Realty.
Born on Guam and raised on Nimitz Hill, Libby’s path started after earning the Merit Scholarship to the University of Guam. After two years at UOG, Libby went on a life adventure of sailing from the U.S. mainland to Hawaii and travelling across the Pacific from American Samoa, Fiji, Australia and back to Guam. Once back home, she began a career in retail management for 25 years, even owning Nuts & Grains health food store. It was in the retail industry that Libby learned the importance of customer relationships and quality service. In 2004 she completed the Real Estate Licensing Course and joined RE/MAX Diamond Realty where she earned numerous awards in the Executive and 100% Club. She has served on various GAR committees and took numerous real estate education courses most recently completing the Real Estate Brokers Course.
Libby was raised by the local values instilled in her family by her grandmother, Agueda Johnston including a strong work ethic and serving the community. This gives Libby a special advantage helping locals in the market. Living off-island and travelling to many countries has given Libby a true understanding of the needs of newcomers to the island and how to provide for a smooth transition in their lives. It is no surprise that 90% of her business comes from referrals confirming that she truly cares about her clients and their goals.
A mother of 3 and grandmother of 5, she enjoys sailing, swimming, reading, metaphysics, and puzzles in her spare time. When asked what this new journey with Hafa Adai Realty means to her she states that, “Being a part of Hafa Adai Realty is the next exciting chapter for me. It provides me the opportunity to continue my grandmother’s legacy of serving the needs of the community of Guam. I wish to share my years of experience and love for the island and its people with all of my clients and hope to help them discover their ideal island home.”
